Election Information

Today, most American citizens over the age of 18 are entitled to vote in federal and state elections. One of the most important rights of American citizens is the the right to vote. In local elections especially, victory for one candidate may be determined by just a few votes more than the other. Your decision to vote could sway an election

Important election days 

2024

Jan. 2 - First day for military/overseas to make an application for an official ballot.

Feb. 8 - First day for early voting at the LaSalle County Clerk's Office.

Feb. 20 - Last day to register to vote or change your address within the office of the election authority.

Feb. 21 - First day for grace period registration and voting.

Mar. 3 - Last day to register to vote online through the State Board of Elections website www.elections.il.gov.

Mar. 11 - Last day for military/overseas to make an application for an official ballot.

Mar. 14 - Last day to accept a vote by mail application.

Mar. 18 - Last day for early voting at the LaSalle County Clerk's Office.

Mar. 19 - ELECTION DAY. Last day for grace period registration.

Mar. 21 - Voter registration re-opens.

Nov. 5 - Presidential election.
